Trust is the product. The site has to carry it.
Websites for advisors and CPAs who are judged on credibility before anyone reads a word.
Ninety-six percent of referred prospects research an advisor online before they make contact, and most visit the website. The site is the second interview you didnโt know was happening. We build and manage sites for financial practices so the disclosures hold up, the bios are real, the fees are findable, and the site stays put while marketing vendors come and go.
Nine ways a financial practice loses the client before the call.
These are the concerns we hear most, and the ones the research backs up. Each one is a page, a post, or a fix waiting to happen.
Referrals look me up, and I lose them there
A referral arrives warm, Googles the firm, and lands on a site that doesnโt say who you serve, what it costs, or whether youโre still current. Almost every referred prospect checks first, and most plan to contact more than one advisor. The site is the interview you never knew you were in.
We donโt put fees on the site
Fees are the second thing a prospect wants to know before contact, and the one they rate most helpful. Most advisor sites hide them, even though RIA fees are already public in Form ADV. The cost is discovery meetings with people who were never a fit.
Our testimonials page could fail an exam
Testimonials and award badges are allowed now, which is how they end up embedded straight from Google with no disclosures, or with the disclosure in a smaller font behind a link. The SECโs latest risk alert names websites specifically. Every one of those is a deficiency finding waiting for an examiner.
Compliance turns every edit into a two-week wait
Website pages count as retail communications, so each change queues for review. The reviewer is the bottleneck, not the rule. The site freezes at launch, the blog dies after three posts, and the team page goes quietly stale.
Our site looks like every other advisorโs
The template your broker-dealerโs vendor sells comes with the same stock photos, the same menu, and the same โfiduciary, holistic, personalizedโ copy as the firm down the street. The SEC even flags โwe act in your best interestโ as a non-differentiator, because itโs everyoneโs duty. When prospects canโt tell you apart, price decides.
The team page still lists someone who left
Advisors leave, partners retire, firms merge, and the roster on the site lags by a year. Regulators have taken issue with departed advisors still named on sites, and state CPA boards expect each name, license number, and jurisdiction. Prospects rank credentials near the top of what they check.
An ADA demand letter showed up
Plaintiff firms are sending accessibility demands to financial-services businesses in rising numbers, citing WCAG and state statutes with per-violation damages. A small firm settles because defending costs more than the demand. The widget vendors promising a one-line fix are now being named in the complaints.
Weโre full, but the site still invites everyone
Most accounting firms turned work away last year for lack of staff, and the website still says โcall for a free consultationโ to anyone who finds it. Busy season fills with unqualified inquiries the site should have screened. A site can say who youโre for, what the minimums are, and when youโre taking new clients.
Prospects are asking ChatGPT, and weโre not there
A quarter of high-net-worth prospects now plan to start their advisor search with an AI assistant. Those tools summarize whatโs structured and visible, and overlook firms whose sites give them nothing to work with. Being findable now means being readable by a machine as well as a person.
Three things we put in place for a financial practice.
SecurePod Care
Your webmaster, so the site is never orphaned. Hosting, updates, backups, and a standing process that keeps disclosures, bios, and policies current while your marketing vendors come and go.
SecurePod CareSee the planPodShield
Consent kept current with the law, policies updated when it changes, accessibility audited on a schedule, every fix on the record. The trail is what protects a practice when a question comes.
PodShieldSee the planIt starts with what you need to say.
A rebuild that begins with the message, then review-ready copy, real bios, and a structure AI engines can read. When a prospect asks ChatGPT about your firm, the answer is accurate because your site made it so.

Marketing firms change. Platforms change. The website shouldnโt have to change with them. We own the website layer and plug into everything around it.
Financial practices we build for.
What we solved for them we can solve for you too.

Mission Wealth
โSaying weโre fiduciaries who act in your best interest sets us apart.โ
The SEC lists that line as misleading when itโs framed as a differentiator, because itโs every adviserโs duty. Niche, process, and proof are what tell you apart.
โWeโre GLBA-regulated, so state privacy laws donโt touch our website.โ
Several states only exempt the data GLBA covers, not the firm. The tracking on your site is still in scope, and the policy has to say so.
โScreenshots count as our website archive.โ
Advisers have to keep copies of advertisements, websites included, for five years. A PDF misses dynamic content and change history. Examiners have asked for the site as it looked in a given year, and firms couldnโt produce it.
โThe broker-dealerโs website vendor handles all of that.โ
It handles it until you change broker-dealers or go independent. Then the site resets to zero, because you never owned the build. The website layer should be yours, looked after by someone who isnโt tied to your affiliation.
โThe site was done in 2018. Itโs fine.โ
A site nobody owns drifts: dead blog, wrong copyright year, a contact form that broke in March and nobody noticed until a client mentioned it in June. Someone has to be accountable for it every month.
Questions Finance & CPAs clients ask first.
Do you work with my marketing firm or replace them?
With them. We own the website layer; they run campaigns, content, and ads on top of it. When they change, the site doesnโt.
Can you handle compliance disclosures and testimonial rules?
We keep the siteโs privacy and accessibility posture current and on the record, and we build testimonial and disclosure sections the way the rules require. Your compliance officer still signs off; we make that easy.
Do you integrate with my CRM and scheduling tools?
Yes. The site is the hub; CRM, scheduling, client portal, and email plug into it. We donโt replace them.
What does it cost to have you manage a finance site?
SecurePod Care runs from $379 a month with hosting included. Rebuilds start at $3,200. The free audit tells you which you need first.
Will you name us on your site?
Only with your permission, and only once youโve approved the case study.
